Project Brief:Petro Gulf Misr (The Egyptian joint venture oil and gas company focused on the exploration, development, and production of hydrocarbons in the Central Gulf of Suez, located 70 km north of Hurghada) intended to conduct an HSE Case Study for the Geisum Star Central Processing Facilities (CPS). Diar Consulting Group has been engaged to support this study and provide specialized engineering and safety analysis services.
Diar Scope of WorkDiar’s scope includes, but is not limited to, the following:
1. HSE Case Study SupportProvide consultation during data and document collection
Support the preparation, review, and final issuance of the HSE Case documentation
2. Process Safety StudiesConduct HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study) for the CPS facilities
Perform SIL (Safety Integrity Level) assessment for critical systems within the CPS
3. Flare System Evaluation and OptimizationDiar will simulate and evaluate proposed alternatives for the relocation of a new rental flare, based on the following technical considerations:
- Hydraulic calculations for pipelines between the two platforms
- Assessment of flare system utilities compatibility for each proposed scenario
- Radiation and gas dispersion studies for safety and environmental compliance
- Evaluation of available space on WP-C and WP-D platforms
- Assessment of the existing pipeline conditions on each platform
Study ObjectiveThe objective of this scope is to ensure:
- Safe and optimized flare system relocation
- Compliance with HSE standards and regulations
- Reliable and efficient operation of the central processing facilities
