Project Brief:The project involves the renovation of an existing building within Benghazi Medical Center (BMC), specifically Part of Building (R1), Ground Floor (EG).
Scope of Work:The scope includes upgrading the ground floor and supplying the required medical equipment to support its conversion into a Widney Care Unit.
The total built-up area of the project is approximately 1,860 m. Location: Benghazi, Libya.
Project Objectives:Diar has received a request from the Ministry of Healthcare to undertake the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of a Widney Care
Unit located within Benghazi Medical Center (BMC).The pro¡ect aims to deliver a fully functional medical facili-ty that meets operational and clinical requirements. The preliminary space program includes the following components:
- PET-CT Unit Hot Lab.
- Three (3) Clinics.
- Five (5) Isolation Rooms.
- One (1) Dialysis Chair (within an isolation room).
- Laboratory Department (six (6) laboratories).
- Two (2) Operation Rooms.
- Preparation and Recovery Area (four (4) beds).
- Autoclave Unit Audio-Visual Unit Storage Areas.
- Doctors' Offices.
