Project Brief:

Suez Cement Group of Companies (SCGC), owned by Heidelberg Cement group, has announced in 2021 an investment of around US$20 million to build a waste heat recovery system (WHR) at its Helwan cement factory in Egypt.
The new facility will be using the latest technologies to ensure an environmentally friendly and energy-e²cient production process, and significantly reduce CO2 emissions produced from the electricity supply. The WHR system will have the potential to generate up to 18MW of power for captive consumption.

Helwan Cement, WHRPP STG Building:
The Client is working on an IN-HAND pro¡ect of Waste Heat Recovery power plant for Helwan Cement Factory, and has invited Diar Consulting Group to perform the complete engineering design package for the Electrical (Lighting, Power and Earthing), Light-Cur-rent and Plumbing systems for the STG building.
