Project Brief
The company intended to install a Viscosity Improver Modifier Unit (VIMU) within the plant to support its strategic objectives.
The implementation of the Viscosity Index (VI) Modifier system will:
· Reduce the finished product blending time
· Improve the material planning process
· Optimize storage utilization by minimizing the need for storing packed VI additives
· Increase available space for other types of packaged additives
The project involves the installation of:
· A Viscosity Improver Modifier Blender with a capacity of 10 metric tons
· Two additive storage tanks, each with a capacity of 50 m³
· All required accessories and ancillary systems
· Integration with the existing blending system
Additionally, the Company plans to implement modifications to pipelines and pumps as part of ongoing plant improvement initiatives.
Diar Scope of Work
Diar Consulting Group will perform basic and detailed engineering for the OPSBA new extension and the VI Unit, including:
· Firefighting Systems Design Works.
· Fire Alarm Systems Design Works.
